Kitts Cottage Campsite

An unspoilt campsite in the heart of Sussex

Local Attractions

You can actually see the Bluebell Railway as you drive up to Kitts camp, so it is within a very easy walk. Sheffield Park Gardens, tea room and shop (try some great English wines) are also an easy walk away, There are plenty of local attractions to help while away the days.

For those who appreciate some of the best kept beer in Sussex, The Sloop pub with its award winning restaurant and cask beers on tap is just a seven minute amble away...

For those who can't keep away from the shops, but would prefer something a little more individual, then Trading Boundaries is the place for you. At the end of Ketches Lane on the A275, there are five or six different shops grouped around a beatiful house and a fantastic courtyard. The cafe itself is worth a visit in any case, where coffe and light lunches are served all day. Known locally as The Elephants, you'll see why when you visit!

All of the above can be reached by public footpaths and the Camping area actually has three seperate footpaths that meet in Long Kitts and can take you to the South, West and East.

These in turn open the walker up to another extensive array of public footpaths, walks and rides so that even the most dedicated walkers are unlikely to cover all the opportunities that are available

The emphasis at Kitts is for you to join us to sample some of the best countryside and country walks and rides that Sussex can offer, to enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful camp and to appreciate the flora and fauna that abounds on this working farm.
