Kitts Cottage Campsite

An unspoilt campsite in the heart of Sussex

Attractions within a few miles

There are many more attractions available to those who are willing to travel a little further. There is the beautiful county town of Lewes a short drive away with its eclectic range of craft and country shops. In the other direction lies Haywards Heath, for what should probably be described as a more modern shopping experience.

Ashdown Forest and Pooh bridge and the magnificent South Downs are also close and there are numerous gardens either temporaily or like Sheffield Park (walkable) for example, permanently open to the public.

Of course one of the other things that Sussex prides itself on is its locally produced beer (Harvey's) and the quality of its pubs. The Sloop will require no further introduction (even though it offers Greene King), but The Coach and Horses at Danehill, The Rainbow at Cooksbridge and The Jolly Sportsman in East Chiltington are all within a shortish drive. Booking is essential.
